Mosques, houses of Allah, the center of peace and piety in the Earth

Mosques in Islam are considered holy houses and a special place to worship Allah, recite the Koran and perform prayer. Allah has made it a center of security and safety, a base for strengthening spirituality and strengthening faith for Muslims.

Mosques reflect the love of Allah and bring worshippers closer to him, as Allah says in the Holy Quran: “and the mosques are for Allah, do not invite anyone with Allah,” Surah Al-Jinn, verse:18 stressing that the mosques are for Allah alone, and she is the one who loved the places to him.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also pointed out the importance of mosques, where he said: “I love the country to Allah for its mosques,” stressing that mosques enjoy the favor of Allaah and his love.

Mosques are the homes of every pious person, a manifestation of the importance of preserving these holy places and benefiting from them in strengthening faith and communication with Allah.

Caring for mosques the story of the construction of the Quba Mosque

The life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) shows his great interest in building mosques and establishing them as centers of worship, education and social communication. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) began to build mosques from the moment he arrived in the neighborhood of Bani Amr Ibn Auf in Quba. As the Maqam did not settle down until he began to build the Quba Mosque, the first mosque built in the city, and this step was important to strengthen social and religious ties between Muslims.

When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) continued his way to Medina, his first act was to allocate land for the construction of his mosque, which emphasizes the importance of mosques in building Muslim communities and strengthening unity and solidarity among their members.

The history of the construction of the Quba Mosque is a model of respect and care of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for these holy places and their vital role in strengthening Islamic identity and deepening ties between Muslims.

The reward of building mosques

The construction and maintenance of mosques is considered one of the greatest good deeds in Islam, and Allah, the Almighty, praised in the Holy Quran those who rebuild their mosques, where he said: “Only those who believe in Allah and the last day, and he established prayer and paid Zakat and did not fear only Allah, may Those be among the converts”.

This verse indicates that the construction of mosques is not limited to physical construction only, but extends to building hearts and consolidating faith and piety. Those who live in mosques are those who believe in Allah and the last day, who pray and give Zakat, and they are those who fear only Allah and seek guidance and straightness on the right path.

The virtue of building mosques in Islam is the message of reward and reward

The spirituality of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stands out in his call to build and maintain mosques, as his hadiths (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded and urged his nation to build these great houses for Allaah. Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him in paradise like him, as reported in a Hadeeth that Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) heard.

(Whoever built a mosque for Allah, Allah built for him in paradise like him)

Imam al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) stated that the reward for building mosques comes in two senses: the first is that Allaah builds for The Believer his mosque in Paradise on his design in the world, and the second is that the favor of this mosque certainly exceeds the favor of the Houses of the world.

It is also important to build mosques because they are considered one of the ongoing alms and permanent good deeds that continue to be paid to a person after his death, according to what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said in his Hadeeth, where the construction of a mosque is one of the good deeds that carry benefits to the believer after his death.

(Whatever befalls the believer from his work and good deeds after his death, a knowledge he has learned and published, a good son he has left, a newspaper he has inherited, a mosque he has built, a house for the son of the way he has built, a river he has rented, or charity he has taken out of his money in his health and life, befalls him after his death).

The virtue of building mosques shows its greatness in this world and the hereafter, as it is not just a material construction, but it is a building of hearts and strengthening of religious and social ties between Muslims.

The place of mosques in Islam is shown by the clear references in the Holy Quran, they are houses for Allah and shrines for his worship. In the surah of Jinn, and that the mosques are for Allah, so do not pray with Allah anyone

Allah Almighty confirmed that mosques are dedicated only to Allah, and people should not pray with Allah to anyone

The role of mosques in faith and worship:

Allah Almighty commands to glorify mosques and build hearts and souls by worshiping in them. You will find in Surah Al-Nur, Allah states in it that he has authorized the raising of the building of mosques for remembrance and prayer in them, and that men are not distracted by trade and selling from the remembrance of Allah

Men who are not distracted by trade or sale from the mention of Allah (al-Nur: 36-37), and men who are not distracted by the mention of Allah (al-Nur: 36-37).

Allah ordered the mosques to be glorified and built for those who did the best deeds, established prayer, performed Zakat and feared Allah

Only those who believe in Allah and the last day live in the mosques of Allah, establish prayer, pay zakaah, and fear only Allah (repentance: 18).

Legislation on the construction of mosques and their impact on Paradise:

In the Sunnah of the Prophet, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) directed the construction of mosques and pointed out their virtue and impact in the hereafter. A Muslim narrated that he said “ “whoever builds a mosque in which the face of Allah desires, Allah will build him a house in Paradise” “as well as,” from tomorrow to the mosque or when he leaves, Allah will prepare a hostel for him in paradise whenever tomorrow or when he leaves

From tomorrow to the mosque or rah, Allah has prepared for him a hostel in paradise whenever tomorrow or rah. Agreed upon

The mosque in the era of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was a place of worship, a school for learning religion and the Koran, a shelter for the needy and travelers, a center for receiving delegations and communication between Muslims.
