who we are

About Us

Africa Hayat (AHAD) is a humanitarian relief association founded in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2020 under license number (34-263-182). AHAD operates in the African continent, with a particular focus on central and west African countries. Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals committed to improving the lives of the poor and underprivileged in our areas of operation.

Our Mission

Our mission at AHAD is to influence the lives of the communities we serve, so that they enjoy the basics of decent living and have control over their lives and resources. We achieve this by providing basic needs for a decent life, improving the level of educational services and access to them, and building the capacities of individuals to participate actively towards productive and sustainable communities.

Our core values are solidarity, excellence, justice, and sincerity.

2020

ACHIEVEMENTS

In 2020, our first year of operation in Africa, we managed to implement 1026 projects and reach over 250,000 beneficiaries. Despite the challenges that come with starting a new organization, we were able to make a significant impact in a short amount of time. This success has inspired us to continue our work and strive for even greater achievements in the years to come.
2021

ACHIEVEMENTS

in 2021, we have achieved remarkable results in a short time. In 2021, we successfully implemented 1216 projects in Africa, which benefited a total of 379,042 people. These projects ranged from building schools, healthcare centers, and water wells to sponsoring children’s education and providing emergency relief to those affected by natural disasters.
2022

ACHIEVEMENTS

In 2022, we continued to expand our projects and implemented 1211 projects that benefited 383,227 people across the continent. Our efforts to provide aid and support to those in need have been unwavering, and we are proud of the positive impact we have made in the lives of so many.

Looking towards the future, our goal for 2023 is to expand our projects even further in Africa. We remain committed to our mission of improving the lives of those in need, and we will continue to work tirelessly to achieve this goal.

We recognize the nature and uniqueness of the communities we serve and therefore, choose appropriate strategies that enable us to benefit from the potential of these communities, build on the skills and abilities of their people, and thus maximize their participation and impact on their lives and future, towards empowered and sustainable communities.
Through our various activities, AHAD seeks to change and improve the lives of the poor and underprivileged in our areas of operation. We believe that every life is valuable and deserving of dignity, and we are committed to working towards this vision every day.

Where we work

AHAD currently operates in Sudan, Ghana, Chad, Benin, Niger, Nigeria, Mali, Somalia, Guinea, and Tanzania. However, we are always seeking opportunities to expand and provide our services in other areas as part of our 2020-2025 strategic plan.

Solidarity

We work for the disadvantaged, the weak, the victims of conflicts, the survivors of disasters and wars. We strive to provide them with support and assistance, and we make sure they feel that we are by their side and that they are not alone.
