Burkina Faso needs
Burkina Faso is facing an upsurge in humanitarian needs; with conflicts and insecurity persisting, close to 4.7 million people need humanitarian assistance. The country is experiencing a profound food crisis; an increased rate of hunger has left a big proportion of the population-2.5 million people-in urgent need of food as prices rise and supplies become low. Added to that, there are 3.5 million people who have had restricted health care services resulting from worsening conditions and the closure of 370 health facilities, making them be at risk of infectious diseases.
