Benin needs
Health care, education, and development in Benin all are dire needs. About 39% of the population does not have access to basic healthcare services. Thus, infections are quite rampant. As for education, the illiteracy rate among adults stands at 38%, therefore impeding efforts for community development. On rural development, there is dire need for infrastructure improvement to assist people in agriculture and provision of social services such as electricity and clean water in villages.
Our turn in Benin
The AHAD Association stands out in Benin through community solidarity. It works through improving the basic conditions within its population. In education, it proposes literacy programs and supports the establishment of Quranic schools for the building of educational and religious values in the students. In the health sector, it involves support activities for clinics with the necessary medication and equipment to assure good quality in the health services. AHAD also builds mosques, schools, Islamic centers, and health centers, further establishing stability and community growth.
