African countries face significant challenges in healthcare, especially regarding individuals with disabilities. According to the World Health Organization, around 15% of Africa’s population lives with some form of disability, many of whom lack the assistive devices necessary for independent movement. With high poverty rates and limited access to healthcare services, people with mobility impairments in Africa face daily struggles. The Medical Wheelchair Campaign aims to offer hope to these individuals by providing them with the ability to move freely and improve their quality of life.
Through this campaign, we work to provide medical wheelchairs to individuals with mobility impairments in the most disadvantaged areas of Africa. Each wheelchair can profoundly change a person’s life, granting them the freedom of movement and the ability to perform daily activities that they couldn’t manage alone.
The cost of one wheelchair is $300
