Project for Building Mosques
The shortage of mosques poses a major challenge for thousands of Muslim families in remote villages. Millions lack proper places to perform their prayers and are often forced to worship in open areas under the scorching sun or heavy rain. In such environments, a mosque is not just a building—it is a beacon of light, a center of hope for communities struggling with poverty and neglect. Building a mosque in these areas is considered a powerful ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), whose blessings and rewards continue as long as prayers are held and the name of Allah is remembered within it. As the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever builds a mosque seeking the pleasure of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
