The month of Ramadan is approaching this year amidst difficult conditions in several countries in the Islamic world, where Muslims are suffering from the repercussions of wars, conflicts, and economic crises. As the Life for Africa Association, we aspire to alleviate their suffering and bring joy to their hearts during this blessed occasion, from Sudan to Ghana and Chad, and from Benin to Niger and Nigeria. We also extend our support from Mali and Somalia to Kenya and Tanzania.

Target beneficiaries

Food Basket Project – 2,000 Families

The food basket project includes:
– 3 kg of rice
– 3 kg of sugar
– 3 kg of flour
– 1 kg of dates
– 500 grams of tomato sauce
– 2 liters of corn oil
– 1 kg of pasta

Ramadan Meals – 40,000 People

The Ramadan meal project includes:
Iftar (Breaking the fast):
– Main dish (chicken or meat)
– Water
– Milk
– Dates
– Fruit

Suhoor (Pre-dawn meal):
– 3 dates
– 250 ml of water
– 50 grams of sweets
– 1 loaf of bread
– 1 piece of fruit
– Cucumber or tomato

Eid Clothing – 4,000 People

The Eid clothing project includes:
– Pants
– Blouse
– Dress
– Hijab
– Shoes

Food Programs

The food programs at AHAD aim to address food insecurity and solve hunger issues in the communities we serve. We provide emergency food assistance to save lives from the impacts of conflicts, natural disasters, and climate change. Through our food programs, we strive to support the local agriculture sector in preparing individuals in Africa to become self-reliant and self-sufficient.

Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Programs

hrough our water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programs, we work to improve access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and promote hygiene practices in the communities we serve. We engage in the construction of various types of wells and aim to enhance water storage and distribution systems. We aspire to establish a network of fixed and mobile latrines, aiming to reduce waterborne diseases, improve public health and well-being, and promote dignity for all individuals.

Development Programs

The development programs at Life for Africa Association aim to empower communities and promote sustainable development. We provide training and support in the field of entrepreneurship, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. Our goal is to create employment opportunities for communities and, thereby, help them achieve self-sufficiency and prosperity.

Health Programs

Our health programs focus on improving access to healthcare services in the communities we serve and providing medical assistance and support to mothers and children. We work to address the root causes of health issues, such as waterborne diseases, malaria, and various epidemics. Our programs also include promoting preventive measures to enhance the health and well-being of individuals and communities.

Education Programs

The educational programs at Life for Africa aim to improve access to education and provide resources and educational supplies to the communities we serve. We work on building and renovating schools, mosques, and Quranic memorization centers. We also alleviate financial burdens through student sponsorship initiatives to help them access quality education, which we believe is a fundamental human right.

Response Programs

During crises and emergencies, the Life for Africa AHAD Africa Hub volunteer team responds swiftly to provide assistance and support to those affected. Our response programs offer immediate relief and work towards long-term recovery efforts. We believe in the importance of preparedness for emergency response and supporting vulnerable communities during challenging times.
